About Joel Ellis  Talking For Change.

A New Chapter of an
Old Story

Retirement, a time often romanticized, can be a daunting reality. Arriving there for me, was a period of introspection and reinvention. Once overwhelmed by negative thoughts, I emerged with a renewed sense of purpose.
With over 50 years of experience in public speaking and coaching, I've had the privilege of guiding countless individuals toward their goals. Encouraged by my wife, Ellen, I've embarked on a new chapter, leveraging my wisdom and expertise to benefit others.
From feeling old, broke, and unprepared, I've transformed into a seasoned, mature individual blessed with abundant opportunities. I've invested in my professional development, completing a public speaker school and pursuing a coaching certification.
My core message is a powerful tool that can empower anyone to achieve their full potential. It's a simple yet profound approach that has the potential to make an immediate impact on your life.
I invite you to explore further and discover how this message can benefit you.

Collecting For A
New Chapter

As someone passionate about communication and ministry, my journey began in 1972 when I started receiving training in public speaking. Back then, my vision was clear: a career as a local church minister. In June 1977, I married my love, and that same year, I embarked on full-time ministry work. My dedication to ministry continued, even when I transitioned to secular employment in 1986, driven by the need to support my growing family.

Throughout my diverse corporate roles, two constants have remained: I have consistently engaged in speaking, whether in training sessions, sales pitches, or customer information settings, and I have continually worked with people, coaching them to enhance both their professional and personal lives.

As I look forward to the next chapter, it feels natural to share the insights and lessons I've gathered over the decades. I aim to do this in the way I've practiced thousands of times—now beyond the corporate environment and family commitments.

I invite you, to join a conversation to explore how some of these insights can positively impact you and your team.
